Emphasis is placed on the 'values' and 'principals' of modern worship, while examining practical details that can be easily applied in any setting.

The objective is to provide every guest with at least one or two pieces of helpful advice that can be applied immediately, alongside other practical information that can be gradually included, with further foundational aspects that will prove useful over a period of time.

The sessions are designed to be entertaining and easy to listen to, and adaptable to the skill level of the team member.

It is recommended that pastors and ministers attend along with their team in order to have the maximum benefit from the event.

Synopsis/Outline of the Talks

Session 1 "What's with all the singing?"
Is worship a gift or a task, and if we were created to worship what exactly does that mean? Why can't it just be the way it used to be?

Session 2 "Building Trust"

One of the most important components necessary in order to allow a church to move ahead together in worship is the relationship between those leading the worship and the congregation. Vital to taking a church forward in worship is being able to build trust between the worship team, the leadership and the congregation. This talk concentrates on the importance of loving your congregation in the equation.

Session 3 "Entrances and Exits"
How can we help congregations more? What might we be doing to hinder their ability to worship? Why does it sometimes seem such hard work? Practical tips that can be easily applied

Session 4 "Making the most of your musical resources"
Simple and easily applicable advice on helping your team work together and sound better.

How to advertise and promote this within your church community

  • Extend invitations to all worship leaders and praise team members within your own church
  • Explain the vision for the event and encourage your pastors to recommend it to their worship teams.
