Dear friends,

I trust and hope you are well and that you are settling back into the fall calendar with encouragement and grace. I am ready for fall weather... (Not New England weather...)

Briefly, I have a few bits of information for your review:

1. Let me introduce and re-introduce to you Rev. Spencer Clifford (Deacon Church of the Redeemer Greensboro), who will be serving as the Network Clergy Formation Advisor for Apostles Mission Network. Spencer's goal and desire is to help and serve with all those folks who are in the process of ordination and reception in the Anglican Mission in America. Spencer can be reached:

via telephone: 336-509-0885
via email: TeamClifford@triad.rr.com

We're trying to get a true list of folks in the process. Spencer is starting to follow everyone up.

2. Our Network Website is up and running (and in process). The address is: www.apostlesmission.org. We're working to get more and more information on there over the next few weeks. One really great feature that is being built is an online Clergy Formation Database tracker (thanks to Spencer's work). Anyone in the process can enter their name, password, etc. and view their current check list. This I think will make our process so much easier to understand and follow, especially for those who want to know "where they stand."

3. We will begin sending a weekly email new blast. This will feature stories and events taking place in the network.

4. I'll have all the final details for our network retreat later this week as well.

5. Bp. Terrell will be on vacation later this week. Please pray for him and Teresa. They're looking forward to some time away in California. Please pray that the Lord will protect this time for them.

6. I would ask your continued and faithful prayers for the election of a new ArchBishop in Rwanda (Sept. 17th).

7. I would also ask your continued prayers for David and Langley Cumbie (Church of the Cross - Boston). The Cumbie's gave birth to David, Jr. and Mary Camden after 26 weeks of pregnancy a few weeks ago and still need your prayers.. You can read more at http://www.facebook.com/l/7a1fc;thecumbies.wordpress.com/"

8. Our congratulations and prayers for the folk in Harrisonburg, VA. Mr. Aubrey Spears, who comes to us via the Miletus AMiA Network, has accepted the call to come to Harrisonburg with his family (Janielle and the five kids) and plant a new AMiA work. Rev. Dan Claire (Church of the Rez DC) will be serving as Regional Leader over this new work. Welcome Aboard Aubrey.

9. Welcome aboard, as well, to Drew Hill. Drew will be helping and serving our Youth Ministry leaders across the mission. The goal of his ministry with the network will be to walk alongside those working with teens and help them in their ministries and service to their respective churches. Drew graduated from Denver Theological Seminary and has attended International Anglican Church in Colorado Springs. He's in process of contacting those in your congregation serving teen ministries.

10. Blessing to Rev. Greg Hampton (Deacon) and Christ Church in Yorktown, Va. Greg has just moved and settled and they are beginning their work now. Our prayers are with you all Greg.

Peace to you,
Alan
